Day 9: Talkeetna

In order to let my leg recover completely, I ask Jon to let me stay one more day yesterday. I woke up at 4 and fell asleep. When I woke up again at 9, Jon was out for work. So I wrote diary of these 3 days alone. It took me a morning to finish 3 days Chinese and English diary. I have to keep my diary shorter and simpler.

Ralf told me he could do something about the stander of my bike. It was banded because of the weight of my bike. It took Ralf and Jon hours of work to reinforce the stander. The stander only takes me 7 US$, now looks like worth 70US$!!

Ralf is working on the stander
Jon is working on it
Now it looks like worth 70

Jon and I had a talk while I was eating dinner, then he taught me how to play a dice game. Suddenly, I realized that this is the game that the Dutch couple I met in Okinawa taught me. Jon also shared me some story about his families and bears. Life is good here, and Ralf and Jon are friendly and willing to share, but It’s time to say goodbye.

Ralf's bike. He is going to have a round Iceland bike trip with his wife and son
