I have done some researches on how much money a round world trip costs after I resolved to travel around the world. The answer is it depends on how I travel and what kind of life standard I expect to have. Here(Round the World Travel Budgets Revealed: The Real Costs of 11 Real Trips) is an article shows the cost of a round the travel based on 11 travelers' real experiences. According to my own experiences, it costs 48 US$/day and 25 US$/day or so in Japan and China(including airplane tickets, bicycle parts...etc.).
After reading the article I mentioned above and calculating how much I spent last two time I traveled, I start to realize it unrealistic to try to travel around the world for me, because all the money I have now is 10,000 US$ or so. And I plan to study Spanish in South America for about 4 months and go to Antarctic, that makes my plan seems impossible. Some people have tried to travel around the world with 10,000 US$ budget but ended up being trapped in the middle of their journey(http://www.twoguysaroundtheworld.com/travelbudget/). Even so, I would rather say it is impossible after I have tried than give up before I even try. I will just go and see, and try to keep my expenses under 10 US$/day.
